HIKMICRO SuperScene™ is an exclusive, Smart Scene Recognition algorithm designed for users new to thermal cameras to simplify the inspection process and make home inspections faster.

It optimizes the SuperScene™ deep learning algorithm by training it on a vast collection of thermal images representing typical issues such as insufficient insulation and water leakage. This enables the algorithm to quickly and accurately identify potential insulation deficiencies and suspicious water leaks during IR inspections. It makes identifying insulation gaps and water leaks quicker and easier, becoming an essential smart assistant for IR inspections.

SuperScene™ CURRENTLY SUPPORTED SCENES

• Water Leak Detection

Scene: Structural anomaly/water pipe leakage, they are divided into two categories according to image features: ceiling wall and floor (with or without carpet).

• Insulation Defect Detection

Scene: The insulation efficiency of the house is reduced due to abnormal insulation layer or structure.

Notes：

• Users need to upgrade the device version to V5.5.82 to test the SuperScene™ function. Currently, there are 2 types of smart scenes supported: Insulation & Water Leak.
• When the SuperScene™ identifies an abnormality (water leakage or insufficient insulation), the reminder method is to draw a prompt symbol at the location of the abnormal area and the prompt "Suspect" to indicate it. The palettes preset by the user will not be changed.
• The SuperScene™ Smart Scene Recognition algorithm is free for users and still in beta, with a risk of missed or false alarms. It’s designed for beginners (non-professionals) to help identify insulation or water leak issues. The algorithm serves as an initial screening tool to improve efficiency and is best used alongside secondary analysis and judgment.
• The HIKMICRO R&D team is committed to continuously optimizing the algorithm, and the accuracy of the SuperScene™ algorithm will continue to improve in future versions.

Pro Scenes

The HIKMICRO pro scenes color alarm algorithm works with additional tools like hygrometers to analyze and alarm thermal images of insulation and moisture issues based on environmental data.

During IR home inspections, it helps quickly pinpoint potential insulation defects (marked with a blue alarm) and suspicious moisture issues (marked with a green alarm).

This feature greatly boosts the efficiency and accuracy of professional thermal camera users when detecting insulation and moisture problems. It simplifies the inspection process, making it faster, easier, and more professional, becoming an essential smart assistant for IR home inspections.
