It is already more than 20 years that Nazaret Jiménez has been enjoying hunting, having the chance to try different methods such as driven hunting, stalking of various species, waiting, some small game hunting and bow hunting, becoming this last modality her favorite.

Who is Nazaret

No matter where she finds herself, this huntress from Toledo – a privileged province of central Spain in hunting matters – enjoys her time in hilly ground, open land or forest areas. Disciplined and tenacious woman, committed to the conservation of nature and passionate about this lifestyle that is part of her essence as a person.

Depending on the time of year, she adapts to the season: “I love the roe deer; I also enjoy a good waiting too, but without a doubt, the dear rutting season is the most special part of the hunt for me. If I had to choose a favorite species, I would say that the stalking of deer in the rutting season is something that I’m incredible excited about due to its spectacular nature.”

On a regular hunting day, she assures she can never go without her Bergara B14 Timber bolt-action rifle (338-caliber) and a Delta Titanium 2.5-15x56 scope. Although, for stalking and waiting, she just bought a Bergara B-14 Wilderness Thumbhole carbon model bolt-action rifle (308-caliber), with an Alpen 2.5-15x56 scope, less heavy and more suitable for long days in the bush.

When she goes hunting with a bow and arrow, Nazaret always takes her binoculars with a rangefinder, headlamp, and a short-arm flashlight for the bow, Olight brand model Valkyria Pl-3r.

In her 35-liter backpack, she ensures always to put her Delta 9x45 binoculars with rangefinder, two Bat Vision flashlights, a knife, and a first-aid kit for any emergency.
