I was out wild boar stalking. More then one year ago my weight waa to high, I couldn't stalk.. now one year later I lost 60kg, now I'm back on stalking again! What happened this stalk i found wild boars, but wind direction was bad, so I had to walk around for like 500-600meters. After this stalk I was able to get a clean shot. The wild boar left with a good shot! And he fell like 30-40meters in a big gap. I found it put the boar on my neck and walked up the hill.. this was an amazing feeling.

When I thought i hit a roebock spot on and just have to go to the treeline and pick up the buck. When i stood there where the buck should be I there was nothing to see, no buck, no drop of blood, nothing. I wished i had some kind of help that was one of the most uncertain moments.

My most uncertain moment in hunt, I'm using old Brno ZH combination rifle, top barrel 7x57r and lower barrel 16gauge slug! Dogs bark, I hear branches snap, leaves rustle, I hear screams, the moment is super chaotic, all of a sudden wild boars jump right in front of me, I'm trying to shoot the biggest male boar I can see, I spot one with big tusks, as he comes running I decide am I gooing to shoot slug or 7x57r rifle caliber, I hesitate, wild boar runs away. You can't win every time in hunt.

Years ago, my most uncertain moments came at dusk. I often saw only shadows and chose not to shoot because I wasn’t sure what stood before me. One night, a huge wild boar appeared. In the weak beam of my weapon light, I saw massive tusks but couldn’t tell if it was the boar of a lifetime or a big sow. I hesitated, and it vanished forever. Last light was fading, it hot, and I’d been tracking fresh prints through thick lantana for over an hour. Every sign said I was close.

Then — crack.

Not random. Weight. Movement.

Then silence. The kind that tells you something knows you’re there.

Heart pounding, I dropped low and waited, brown snakes in the back of my mind.

I crawled forward through the scrub, every movement measured.

And there it was.

Not the deer I’d hoped for.

A wild pig.

You win some, you lose some.

A September evening hunt. After a fruitless wait for the rut, I was returning to my car at night. On the forest road, I noticed a glowing shape and heard heavy panting. Through my thermal scope, I saw a massive male wolf just 40m away, heading straight for me. I chambered a round—the sound of the bolt stopped him in his tracks. The predator circled around me and returned to the path behind my back.Thanks to thermal imaging, I maintained control and reached my car safely, avoiding a confrontation

The sun was setting, signaling the end of the day's roebuck hunt. Just as I was about to leave, I decided to climb a nearby hill to check the clearing behind it. I stayed low in the grass, creeping toward the tree line. With my Habrok in hand, I slowly stood up-only for my screen to flash white. Startled, I lowered the device and realized I was standing ten meters from a full-grown brown bear, which had reared onto its hind legs the moment it saw me.

My best hunting moment happened in my mobile cabin. I woke up to a roaring red stag only 25 meters away. Pitch black night, finding my way to the hunting stand I was assigned to, suddenly cracking branches from my left, something moving there, I turn my flashlight and see nothing, move forward. Finally at the stand, the sun rises slowly, I use my thermal vision, see my target. Wait a little longer, can confirm it, shoot. A perfect hunting day.
