World-leading optics manufacturer HIKMICRO has raised the bar for thermal hunting today with the launch of the new LYNX 2.0 thermal monocular and STELLAR 2.0 thermal scope at Jagd & Hund Show 2024. The Jagd & Hund Show is a famous hunting showcase taking place in Germany's Messe Dortmund from Tuesday 30th January to Sunday 4th February. It is the perfect place for HIKMICRO to unveil the two exciting new thermal products to the shooting world and for people to see them on stand G08 in Hall 8.

The new and improved LYNX 2.0 and STELLAR 2.0 have received revolutionary updates based on HIKMICRO's ongoing product development programme. The new lines deliver enhanced performance and visual clarity to meet the modern hunter's every need when choosing a thermal unit. Most significantly, both devices now feature powerful, high-sensitivity sub-20mK thermal detectors to capture the smallest details, delivering vivid, informative, layered images, allowing detailed observation and clear identification of targets and backgrounds in varying weather and light conditions.

The LYNX 2.0 sees this proven thermal monocular upgraded for 2024 to create the perfect compact spotter. As part of a development programme to deliver NETD sub-20mK performance across HIKMICRO's entire thermal range, this leading device now boasts unrivalled viewing in all conditions by day and night.

Equipped with a high-sensitivity sub-20mK thermal module, the LYNX 2.0 provides the hunter with the ultimate viewing experience. This advancement combines with 384x288 resolution 12μm detector and 1024x768 resolution 0.39-inch OLED display to deliver detailed, informative images for clear observation and confident target identification in all weather.

The level of innovation incorporated in the LYNX 2.0 is typified in its versatile power supply system. This device is powered by a replaceable rechargeable battery which gives up to 6.5 hours of continuous operation, so the hunt is never cut short. Dual charging capability even means the battery can be charged within the unit or in an external charger for ultimate flexibility.

The LYNX 2.0 also boasts a power-saving, position-activated auto display off function with fast three-second boot-up to ensure that it is always ready for rapid action. Other features include photo and video capture with audio to onboard memory, PIP, hot tracking and hotspot connectivity to the HIKMICRO Sight app for simple file sharing and quick, easy firmware updates.

All this performance has been built into a compact, pocket-sized monocular that weighs just 277g. Lightweight and easy to carry, the LYNX 2.0 has been designed with excellent balance and feels great in the hand.

The HIKMICRO SQ50 2.0 (STELLAR 2.0) thermal scope delivers market-leading sub-20mK viewing in a unit that has the familiar look and feel of a traditional telescopic sight. That familiarity continues with a sub-round display, but the STELLAR boasts day and night performance beyond anything seen before.

The high-sensitivity sub-20 thermal module is backed up by a 640×512 resolution 12μm detector thermal detector, 50mm F1.0 lens and 1920×1080 0.49-inch semi-round OLED display to deliver stunning image quality with a detection range of up to 2600m. These features are enhanced by the Image Pro algorithm and result in exceptionally sharp viewing with vivid, informative, layered images for detailed target recognition even in the hardest weather conditions. The STELLAR 2.0 also shows the surrounding landscape in sharp detail to facilitate safe shooting.

Two rechargeable internal lithium batteries and one replaceable rechargeable battery work with the STELLAR 2.0's ultra-low power consumption system to give a continuous runtime of up to 11 hours, so you will never miss out on that precious hunting experience. Photo and video recording with audio, direct to 64GB onboard memory, enable you to capture every moment in detail while connectivity to the HIKMOCRO Sight app makes for quick and easy file sharing and simple firmware updates.

The STELLAR 2.0 boasts 15.4x19.2m field of view at 100m and 3.3-26.4x (8x) magnification to cover everything from close-range shooting demanding fast target acquisition to high-precision long-range hunting. Other features include Red Hot, White Hot, Black Hot and Fusion colour palettes, cold and warm tone adjustment, flat field correction, PIP, hot tracking, zero freeze for quick, easy zeroing and five zero profiles. This unrivalled functionality ensures optimum precision with absolute ease of use.

Apart from reflecting traditional hunting values, the STELLAR 2.0's design incorporates a standard 30mm tube for easy mounting. The unit is waterproof and shockproof to withstand strong recoil and heavy use in all terrains. It is very robustly constructed yet still weighs just 950g and is extremely simple to operate via an intuitive array of controls.
