Before Start

• Make sure that you have installed the latest version of the HIKMICRO SIGHT App.

• Make sure that you activated mobile data before starting the HIKMICRO SIGHT App.

• Do not switch off or operate the device during the update process!

Step 1: Upgrade your device via HIKMICRO SIGHT App or PC.

Step 2: Enter the device interface and choose whether to change the hotspot password.

Step 3: If you choose OK. The device will show you a random 8-digit password in the hotspot in the menu. Reconnect the device with your phone using the new password.

              If you choose Cancel. The password will also remain the Serial No. It will also be displayed in the hotspot in the menu. 

              Note: During usage, if you restore your device. The password will also be restored.

Step 4: Turn on the WLAN of your phone and  connect to the hotspot.

              Hotspot Name: HIKMICRO_Serial No.

              Hotspot Password: Go to Hotspot in the menu to check the password.

Note:  If the password is not displayed, please upgrade the device to the latest version. Or enter the Serial No. as the password.
